NMSU is cursed with bad location


Las Cruces is Remote - an hour out of El Paso.
8-11 hour drives from Houston, Dallas, San Antonio.

No G5 conference other than the MWC can afford them as a full member, sending non-rev sports on flights to ElPaso and then renting vans to Las Cruces.

There may be a path into the MWC opening up, if UTEP goes in.
AT that point, the MWC has 12 all sports and 13 football members - Hawaii is football only. If NMSU can join as football only,then each division has 7 teams (6 full, one FB only). Boise moves the the WEst, UTEP and NMSU to the MTN. Geography falls out well.
